A small report featuring our Team Members on what recently happened on the Switch game
The focus during the week was on the Nintendo Switch. Our Team Members have been travelling around a variety of games off the Switch. So far, we got lots to cover over the past weeks since the Team got busy. On the side, when time progresses, there has been a ton of Online Games filled in without being headlined. In this post, we are delivering a “Scouting Report” of what games were played and what can we expect in the future as November is coming in very soon.
Though we wanted to share what happened in separate posts, we thought we should round up all the amazing moments from the past month and catch you up on what’s been happening all in one post, which is our Scouting Report.
As October is about to wrap up, the Team will be preparing for a year-end finish like none other. WSC Pros looking to close the year off strong with some fresh Online Games. A small contest is in the works, but right now is exclusively to our Team Members only.
Team B.F.F Gamers will now present some of the Online Games you may have missed for the past couple of days.
1) Impressive Games in Switch Sports Levels Up! Milestone Rank Ups
Two players in the field have made their ranks up. Mr B.F.F completes the Volleyball Run with a historic rank up to A26. It was his fourth game completed out of seven overall in the Race to Legend. Though Mr B.F.F was denied A Rank sooner in Badminton, he will be looking to aim for A Rank sooner or later on that sport.
Jack, a trending player, has recently hopped on to the Pro League, winning his coveted A Rank on Tennis. He had received A29, knowing that one more victory would give him S Rank straight away. He had quite a challenge, an immediate shift from easy to hard, and had dominated a Match Win, being 5-1 down and making a comeback for his hard earned experience to change up to S Rank. Jack has expressed he will play more Tennis but not for too much now.
Quintin was also on the field on Golf, and delivered some strong performances. He has achieved rank Infinity 32, his highest so far as we are speaking right now. He aims to go for 33, having been close with the Infinity Rivals for a long time. We are wishing Quintin all the best in the grind, one number at a time.
2) Mario Kart 8 Sessions Headline A Team Meetup Once Again
In addition, two Team Members headline the Online Games for Mario Kart 8. Gameboy and LGL have joined Mr B.F.F and Quintin in Mario Kart 8 on a Friday session once again, just like the October 13th session. The group may be expected to return again this week in the evening session to play once more and prove themselves worthy of their ability to race in this game.
Following the last two sessions, another session is booked this week. Last week’s session saw our returning players give it their all on Regional Race. A Live Streamer was streaming our Regional session with the Team Members involved. Content Creator, Nilly has also returned for an hour long of Online Games as well.
Also, Member Marcus has attended the afternoon sessions to play with a few members of the Team as well. He is also consistent with his form though he sometimes expressed how good or the bad the game is, during the session.
Based on VR so far, Gameboy is back in pole position as he overtaken Mr B.F.F in VR, as the two will see who will reach 10K VR first, if possible. There may also be a few YouTubers set to make debut on the Friday session as well. Stay tuned.
3) Mr B.F.F returns to form in the Superstars Circuit
Another Switch Game saw Mr B.F.F favorably return to Mario Party Superstars. He had finally won his place as a Level 99 player on Superstars. With a clutch victory over his fellow opponents, he would win 1500 experience points that would guarantee a Level 99 for the first time. He joins his fellow Members in holding Level 99 and will continue to play more Mario Party Superstars onwards.
Mr B.F.F played in the Global stage and saw all of his fellow opponents disconnect from the game, two of them which they are Level 99 players as well. He would finish in third place after not being awarded a Bonus Star, should he tied in stars, would have won the game for holding the most coins. Two players won a bonus star, putting Mr B.F.F away from the Runner-up position. Yoshi claimed the victory. A third place finish is awarded 750 experience points.
A game that turned competitive, smart AND strategic…
After that game, Mr B.F.F would immediately play again with Quintin and Super Gameboy in Woody Woods. Defending champ, Yoshi returned to the stage. Immediately, Gameboy expressed a Strategy to play SMART, but not strategically. Mr B.F.F took that advice and has played his A Game very well.
Mr B.F.F was already up by three stars while Quintin and Gameboy would need at least one. Quintin would have such unfortunately bad luck that he was out of it and couldn’t do anything, Gameboy had his sights set to Meet Boo to steal a Star away. He has won a handful of Mini Games which he has a TON of coins to do so. Mr B.F.F proceeded to the Shop where he puts his coins towards the Warp Block.
Before even proceeding to use it, Gameboy tried to reach Boo before it happened but lands on Evil Woody that kicked him back a few spaces. Mr B.F.F fails to land on Gameboy’s space with the Warp Block once, but bought another Warp Block to finally swap places with him. Mr B.F.F reached Boo where he was able to steal coins once after.
Almost being foiled by CPU Yoshi, had he won a VS game, he would have captured enough coins to steal a star. Gameboy also wanted to grab a warp block as well. There wasn’t enough turns to reach the shop, nor any of the Item Games or Lucky Spaces offered a Warp Block.
Mr B.F.F secures the Lock Game for the first time in Mario Party Superstars
When the final turn strikes, Mr B.F.F ensured he would carry a lock game in the end. Quintin’s red space would cause a 1v3 game. With Yoshi and Mr B.F.F being a Team and the final Mini Game being Hide and Sneak, Yoshi was no longer in contention of first place regardless since he would need 10 coins to overtake Mr B.F.F and win both the bonus stars.
Both Super Gameboy and Quintin took 3rd and 4th respectively. The Two Wisconsin players were left empty handed with 0 stars while Mr B.F.F retained his three stars that he has earned, with a bonus star. Yoshi was dethroned of his reign for 1st, only holding two stars, finishing in second place.
Mr B.F.F has expressed that it is has been his favorite game so far. He enjoyed having such a run where he finally gets the lock game. Though there were open opportunities to steal first, it would never happen today. Mr B.F.F has his eyes set for another game in the near future and hopes to return.
